Breastfeeding at Carols

I went to Carols by Candlelight last night for the first time in years. After spending most of the day wondering if we should go we decided to be spontaneous and head off to the city with the kids by train.

And I am so glad that we did, it was great. It had been at least 15 years since I had been and I was single last time I did go, so it was lovely to go with my husband and 2 boys.

All the boys enjoyed it as much as I hoped they would. They danced, they played, they sang and it was lovely to just sit back and spend time enjoying each other's company. We had a great spot too as a lovely man offered us some VIP tickets that he had won which we couldn't use.

We were actually sitting quite close to Nicole Kidman, but the highlight for the kids was The Wiggles of course!

Being 5 months pregnant now and feeling lots of kicks, I was really excited to see mums with new borns and babies. Most of them were breastfeeding too! It was great to see. I just wanted to run over and say, "you go mama!"

More breastfeeding in public I say, especially at family events so our little ones can see how beautiful and normal it is.
